Urbani Truffles UK Gift Card Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Gift Card Terms and Conditions (“Gift Card T&Cs”) govern your purchase and use of Urbani Truffles UK Limited gift cards (“Gift Cards”), which are digital gift cards delivered by email (“E-Gift Cards”). A Gift Card is a payment method redeemable for eligible products at shop.urbanitruffles.co.uk only.

By purchasing, using, or accepting a Gift Card, you agree to be bound by these Gift Card T&Cs.

2. Redemption

Gift Cards can only be used to purchase eligible products online at shop.urbanitruffles.co.uk, and only for delivery in the United Kingdom. A Gift Card may only be redeemed up to its available balance and cannot be redeemed for cash except as required by applicable UK law.

Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards, third-party gift cards, prepaid cards, banking products, or other financial products.

3. Delivery and Activation

Gift Cards are delivered by email to the email address provided at the time of purchase. A Gift Card has no value until it is activated by Urbani Truffles UK Limited.

In the event of a failed payment (e.g., chargeback, declined transaction), the Gift Card will not be honoured.

4. Restrictions

Gift Cards:

• Cannot be resold, transferred for value, or redeemed for more than the available balance.
  

• Cannot be re-loaded or used as payment to parties other than Urbani Truffles UK Limited.
  

• Cannot be used in marketing, advertising, or promotional activities without prior written consent from Urbani Truffles UK Limited.
  

You may transfer a Gift Card to a third party as a gift with no consideration (i.e., for free).

5. Expiry and Validity

Gift Cards are valid for five (5) years from the date of purchase. After this period, any unused balance will expire and no longer be redeemable.

No inactivity or service fees will be charged during the validity period.

6. VAT Treatment

Under UK VAT law, gift cards are not subject to VAT at the time of purchase. VAT will be accounted for when the Gift Card is redeemed and the underlying goods are supplied. GOV.UK

7. Balance Inquiries

To check your Gift Card balance, please email shop.online@urbanitruffle.co.uk. The balance shown is an estimate at the time of inquiry.

8. Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

Urbani Truffles UK Limited is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or destroyed Gift Cards. The risk passes to you upon purchase.

9. Refunds and Returns

Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be returned or redeemed for cash except where required by applicable UK law.

If products purchased using a Gift Card are returned under the UK shop’s returns policy, a new Gift Card equal to the refunded amount will be issued.

10. Compliance with Law

By using a Gift Card, you agree to comply with these Gift Card T&Cs and all applicable laws regarding the purchase and use of Gift Cards.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Urbani Truffles UK Limited’s liability in connection with Gift Cards is limited to the unused balance on the Gift Card. The company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from Gift Card use.

Nothing in these Gift Card T&Cs limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

12. Changes to Terms

Urbani Truffles UK Limited may amend these Gift Card T&Cs at any time. Updated terms will be published on the website. Continued use of Gift Cards after changes indicates acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Gift Card T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

At Urbani, we take the utmost care to ensure your truffles and gourmet specialties arrive in perfect condition — fresh, fast, and handled with the same attention we apply to every product we craft.

Delivery Schedule

We offer Next-Day Delivery across the UK through our trusted courier partner DPD, renowned for reliable and temperature-safe handling.

Cut-Off Time

1. Orders placed before 10:00 AM (UK time) are shipped the same day for next-day delivery.
2. Orders placed after 10:00 AM are shipped the following day and will arrive the day after shipment.
3. Orders placed after 10:00 AM on Friday will be shipped on Monday for Tuesday delivery.

To guarantee freshness, no exceptions can be made to the 10:00 AM cut-off time.

Shipping Rates

1. Standard Next-Day Delivery: £15
2. Saturday Delivery: £20 (available for orders placed on Friday before 10:00 AM)
3. Shipping is always free on orders of £149+

Packaging & Freshness

All fresh products are packed with premium insulated materials and temperature-controlled gel packs.

Shipments are handled exclusively by DPD, ensuring your order remains protected and traceable throughout transit.

Delivery Notifications

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking details directly from DPD so you can follow your delivery in real time until it arrives at your door.

Important Notes

1. We cannot modify delivery dates after an order has been placed.
2. Shipments require a valid UK delivery address.
3. We are unable to offer exceptions to the 10:00 AM cut-off for any reason — this is essential to protect product quality and ensure timely dispatch.
